I was wrong about VirtualBox
Sonofa! Worked great until I tried a re-install of XP with more than one proc core. Sadness.
Time to try out VMWare?

I have gotten further with VirtualBox than I did with Parallels. Woohoo! It does seem to light my 3.0 GHz Core Duo on fire though, so I’m wondering if things would work out better had I configured the virtual machine to use both CPU cores as opposed to one.
I also discovered an annoying Ubuntu/Compiz papercut bug, in which compiz disables the ability to switch workspaces by scrolling mousewheel over the window switcher applet. Boo! Its also been open since about 2007, so I’m hoping somebody fixes it for 10.04. I miss my mousewheel!
So, after an incredibly brief foray with Parallels Desktop 4.0, I am fleeing back into the gracing comforts of VMware and Virtualbox.
I yearn for an ERP system which prides itself on technical user friendliness.

Here we go for round two. I may post a more detailed observation on my test-implementation of IQMS later.
Hola!
After an eternity of a respite, I’ve purged and updated this trusty old WordPress to the latest version.
Maybe I’ll even post?
